Honeyed Rice Pudding

This spin on traditional rice pudding will delight your taste buds.


You will need:
  • 1 cup short grain rice such as arborio
  • 4 cups milk
  • 4 oz honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup cream


  1. Thoroughly rinse rice. Add to medium sauce pan with milk and lemon zest, bringing to a simmer.

  2. Add vanilla and continue cooking, stirring occasionally until rice is soft.

  4. Add honey and let cool.

  5. When rice is cool, whip cream until stiff and gently fold through rice.

  6. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.


  • Top with cinnamon for added flavor
