Asian Dipping Sauce


  • ¼ cup lite soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil (if you prefer not to have the smoky flavor, use regular sesame oil)
  • 2 tablespoons Hoison sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar (decrease to ½ is you prefer a less sweet sauce)
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon sesame seeds


Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour to bring the flavors together.
