Crab Fried Rice

Crab Fried Rice is a mouthwatering dish that will be sure to please any seafood lover.


You will need:
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice, long grain
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 onions, medium size, chopped
  • 3 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/3 lb cooked crab meat
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tsp salt


  1. In a medium saucepan, bring rice and water to a boil.

  2. Reduce heat to low, cover and let simmer for 20-25 minutes or until water is absorbed.

  3. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat.

  4. Add onions and garlic to oil and cook until tender.

  5. Mix in rice, sugar and salt, and cook 5-6 minutes until well mixed.

  7. Mix in beaten egg until rice is coated and increase heat to high.

  8. Add in crab and green onions and continue cooking for 4-5 minutes, until crab meat is heated through.

  9. Remove from heat and serve.
