Szechuan Fried Shrimp and Peas

This flavorful take on Szechuan Fried Shrimp and Peas will leave you wanting more.


You will need:
  • 2 cups snow peas
  • 4 Tbsp water
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp ketchup
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 4 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 lb cooked shrimp, tails off



  1. In a small mixing bowl, add water, ketchup, soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, red pepper, and ginger. Mix well and set aside.

  2. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat.

  3. Add olive oil and heat.

  4. Sauté garlic, snow peas and green onions for 1 minute and add shrimp, stir frying for an additional 3-4 minutes.

  5. Place reserved sauce in skillet and mix well, making sure to stir constantly until sauce is thickened.

  6. Remove from heat and stir.
